The Raider girls varsity soccer team started off week six with a 7-1 record. They played against a tough Evansville team on Monday the 15th, ending with a 0-0 tie. Sugar River had 2 saves and Evansville 7.
On Tuesday the 16th, the girls hosted co-op Cambridge/Deerfield in New Glarus winning their 6th shutout of the season, 5-0! Scoring in the first half were sophomore Jaylynn Benson and junior Ellie Gentilli. Benson scored right away again in the second half and sophomore Kirsten Krantz, assist from Riley Hubbard, for a 4th goal at 53:16. Then at 71:43, senior goalkeeper Rachel Heittol...
