Monticello Track Competes at River Ridge

The Monticello track team competed at River Ridge on April 16th, where the men placed 3rd and the women placed 4th.
Men’s Results
In the 100M dash Pete Gustafson placed 4th.
In the 200M dash Pete Gustafson placed 4th and Wade Noriega placed 8th.
In the 400M run Lucas Heiser placed 6th, while Sam Allard placed 7th and Wade Noriega placed 8th.
In the 800M run, Simon Blohowiak placed 2nd while Sam Allard placed 5th and Lucas Heiser placed 7th.
In the 1600M run Logan Blum placed 3rd while Braylon Hoesly placed 4th and Simon Blohowiak placed 5th.
In the 3200M run Logan Blum placed 3rd while Braylon Hoesly placed 4th and Tristin Flanagan placed 5th.
The 4x800 relay team, consisting of Rudy Wocker, Tristin Flanagan, Braylon Hoesly and Evan Guenther, won the event.
In shot put Wade Noriega placed 9th. Noriega placed 10th in discus.
Pete Gustafson won the high jump.
Women’s Results
In the 100M dash Jayden Hummel placed 5th while Natalie Roe placed 11th. Hummel placed 10th in the 200M dash while Roe placed 12th.
In the 400M run Natalie Roe placed 4th.
In shot put, Ali Risley placed 2nd. Risley placed 3rd in discus.
In the long jump, Natalie Roe placed 9th while Jayden Hummel placed 12th.
On Thursday, April 18th, the team participated in the Jim Church Invite in Brodhead. The men’s team placed 7th while the women’s team placed 9th.

In the 200M dash, Cade Femrite placed 15th while Wade Noriega placed 20th.
In the 400M run Cade Femrite placed 12th, while Wade Noriega placed 19th and Lucas Heiser placed 20th.
In the 800M run Rudy Wicker placed 3rd while Tristin Flanagan placed 8th and Sam Allard placed 12th.
In the 1600M run Rudy Wicker placed 4th while Evan Guenther placed 5th and Braylon Hoesly placed 9th.
In the 3200M run Evan Guenther placed 7th while Simon Blohowiak placed 11th.
In the 4x800 relay, the team of Simon Blohowiak, Logan Blum, Braylon Hoesly and Tristin Flanagan placed 5th.
In the shot put Wade Noriega placed 18th. Noriega placed 17th in discus.
In the high jump Pete Gustafson placed 6th. Gustafson placed 10th in the long jump.
In the triple jump Logan Blum placed 11th.
Women’s Results
Alyssen Noriega won the 200M dash, while Hannah Clark placed 5th and Jayden Hummel placed 14th.
In the 400M run Jayden Hummel placed 13th.
In the 300m hurdles, Maggie Bak placed 4th.
The team of Maggie Bak, Hannah Clark, Alyssen Noriega and Ali Risley placed 3rd in the 4x200 relay.
In the shot put Ali Risley placed 9th. Risley placed 7th in discus.
In the long jump Maggie Bak placed 6th while Natalie Roe placed 15th.
On April 25th the team competes in Cuba City and will compete at Black Hawk on May 2nd.
