Knights Lose to Brodhead/Juda and Edgewood

Holden Latsch took the mound in the April 15th game against Brodhead/Juda.
On April 15th, the New Glarus Knights baseball team hosted Brodhead/Juda and lost, 0-12.
Brodhead/Juda scored all 12 runs in the first 3 innings of the game.
Ben Melvin went 2x2 at bat while Peyton Mendleski was 1x1 at bat.
Ben Melvin, Holden Latsch, Brennan Butler and Eli Zimmerman shared pitching duties.
On April 16th, the Knights hosted Cambridge, losing 3-7.
The game was tied at the end of the 1st inning, but Cambridge kept putting players across home base and New Glarus wasn't able to recover.
Cooper Dreyfus was 3x4 at bat and scored 2 runs while Darris Schuett was 2x4 at bat and scored 1 run. Connor Siegenthaler, Reeve Binger, Nathan Streiff and Cale Weeden all had 1 hit each.
Peyton Mendleski and Ben Melvin shared the mound, each striking out 2.
On April 20th, New Glarus played a double header against Edgewood.
In game one, Edgewood raced to a 5-0 lead in the 1st inning, scoring 5 more by the 4th. Final score, New Glarus 0, Edgewood 10.
In game two, New Glarus scored 2 runs, 1 in the 1st and 1 in the 6th. Final score, New Glarus 2, Edgewood 11.
Darris Schuett, Ben Melvin and Holden Latsch all went 1x3 at bat. Schuett and Cooper Dreyfus each crossed home plate once.
The Knights play at Wisconsin Heights on April 25th and at Adams-Friendship on April 26th, and will host Waterloo on April 30th.
