The Monticello Ponies track team participated in the Glendenning Invitational in Monroe on April 8th.

Men’s Results

In the 100M dash, Cade Femrite placed 10th.

In the 200M dash, Cade Femrite placed 8th, while Wade Noriega placed 16th.

In the 400M run, Cade Femrite placed 8th, while Lucas Heiser placed 20th.

In the 800M run, Logan Blum placed 9th, while Tristin Flanagan placed 10th and Lucas Heiser placed 15th.

In the 1600M run, Rudy Wicker placed 5th, while Braylon Hoesly placed 9th and Sam Allard placed 11th.

In the 3200M run, Evan Guenther placed 3rd.

In the 4x400 Relay, the team of Sam Allard, Tristin Flanagan, Braylon Hoesly and Lucas Heiser placed 7th.

In the 4x800 Relay, the team of Simon Blohowiak, Logan Blum, Evan Guenther and Rudy Wicker placed 4th.

In shot put, Wade Noriega placed 16th. Noriega placed 16th in the discus event as well.

In the triple jump, Logan Blum placed 10th.

Women’s Results

Alyssen Noriega placed 2nd in the 100M dash, while Natalie Roe placed 22nd.

In the 200M dash, Alyssen Noriega placed 3rd, Hannah Clark placed 4th, Ali Risley placed 7th and Jayden Hummel placed 17th.

In the 400M run, Jayden Hummel placed 8th and Natalie Roe placed 11th.

In the 300m hurdles, Maggie Bak placed 3rd.

The 4x200 relay team consisting of Maggie Bak, Hannah Clark, Ali Risley and Alyssen Noriega won the event, breaking both a meet and Monticello High School record. The previous school record had been in place since 1983.

In shot put, Ali Risley placed 12th. Risley placed 4th in discus.

In the long jump, Maggie Bak placed 2nd, while Natalie Roe placed 16th.

On April 13th, the team participated in the Parkview Don Albright Invite in Orfordville.

Men’s Results

In the 200M dash, Cade Femrite placed 9th, while Wade Noriega placed 19th.

In the 400M run, Cade Femrite placed 4th, while Wade Noriega placed 9th and Sam Allard placed 12th.

In the 800M run, Rudy Wicker placed 5th, while Sam Allard placed 12th and Lucas Heiser placed 14th.

In the 1600M run, Rudy Wicker placed 4th, Braylon Hoesly placed 8th and Tristin Flanagan placed 11th.

In the 3200M run, Evan Guenther placed 4th, Simon Blohowiak placed 8th and Logan Blum placed 9th.

In the 4x400 Relay, the team of Sam Allard, Lucas Heiser, Braylon Hoesly and Tristin Flanagan placed 5th.

Winning the 4x800 Relay was the team of Logan Blum, Evan Guenther, Rudy Wicker and Simon Blohowiak.

In shot put, Wade Noriega placed 16th. He also placed 16th in discus.

In the triple jump, Logan Blum placed 7th.

Women’s Results

Alyssen Noriega won the 100M dash, while Natalie Roe placed 14th.

In the 200M dash, Jayden Hummel placed 7th, while Natalie Roe placed 13th.

In the 400M run, Ali Risley placed 7th and Jayden Hummel placed 8th.

Maggie Bak won the 300m hurdles.

In shot put, Ali Risley placed 6th. She placed 4th in discus.

In the long jump, Maggie Bak placed 3rd, while Natalie Roe placed 8th.

The Ponies competed at River Ridge on April 16th and will compete at Brodhead on April 18th and Cuba City on April 25th.
