A Monticello resident recently lost their checkbook, along with nearly $200, the week of April 7th in the subdivision at the north end of the village.

The owner of the checkbook had this to say, “Hope you sleep well! You know who you are…I’m also sorry that you were born without a conscience!”

As the checks have their name and address printed on them, the owner of the checkbook was hoping that the finder would mail them or drop them off at their house. A reward is available if the checkbook with all checks and cash is returned.
