New Glarus’ Swiss Cemetery is one of the few area cemeteries not owned by either a private, for-profit company or a village and supported by tax dollars. Swiss Church owns, manages, and cares for Swiss Cemetery as well as the former EUB Cemetery.

Swiss Church Pastor Kim Moeller says, “We see our management of the cemeteries as one of our most important caring ministries. The Cemetery offers burial space to everyone, regardless of religious affiliation. Everyone is charged the same price; no one receives a discount. It is truly a community cemetery.”
