Todd and Janet Kuehl, and their dog Bailey, will be hosting the first annual Remember Me Red Run on May 11th at Bailey's Run Vineyard, N8523 Klitzke Road, New Glarus. To register online, visit www.remembermeredrun.com.

Register today for the first annual Remember Me Red Run! The 5K run will start at Bailey's Run Vineyard, N8523 Klitzke Road in New Glarus, at 10:00 a.m. on May 11.

This is an event for a cause close to the heart of local winemakers Janet and Todd Kuehl, who opened Bailey's Run Vineyard in May 2018, and named it after their beloved dog, Bailey. The winery, built high on a ridge on the outskirts of New Glarus, provides a fantastic venue for enjoying wine and views of the Wisconsin countryside.

In tune with their community, Janet and Todd realized the growing support of their winery provides an opportunity to shine a light on awareness of Alzheimer's disease, a cause they both care about. Both Janet and Todd lost a grandparent to Alzheimer's. In memory of their grandparents, they created a special red wine blend called Remember Me Red.

"Every bottle we sell donates a portion toward finding a cure for Alzheimer's," Janet Kuehl said. "This delicious wine will be back in stock in just a few short weeks, so stop on out to the winery and give it a try and learn more about our passion to find a cure for Alzheimer's and Dementia!"
