Local Severe Weather Safety and Spotter Classes to be Held

Green County Emergency Management announces that local severe weather/tornado spotters classes will be held Monday, April 15, 2019. The first class will be at 12:30 p.m., at the Monroe Fire Dept. #1 at 601 W. 17th Street (by Badger State Ethanol) with next class at 6:30 p.m., at New Glarus Fire Department, 218 4th Avenue. Marc Kavinsky, Meteorologist with the National Weather Service, will be instructing the classes.
