Lady Wildcats End Season With Loss to #1 Seed Aquinas in Sectional Finals

On February 28th, the Belleville Lady Wildcats played a Division 4 WIAA Sectional Semi-Final game against #1 seeded Markesan at DeForest. Belleville was down by 5 at the half, but found their hustle in the second to overcome Markesan. Belleville won the game, 60-56.
Leading the way with 15 points was Jade Halvensleben, while Rachael Heittola scored 14 points and Erin Kittleson put 11 points on the board.
With that win, the girls earned the right to play #1 Aquinas, who were undefeated in the Mississippi Valley Conference, in a WIAA Sectional Final at Verona. Belleville was down 28-44 at...
