In the February 14, 2019 edition of the Post Messenger Recorder, we recognized Rachael Heittola for being the second girl in Belleville school history to score 1,000 points. This was based on information furnished to us by the school district.

However, an observant reader has informed us that Heittola is actually the fourth girl to reach that milestone in her high school basketball career at Belleville. The others are, in order, Tifanie Brady (2000), Dana Thompson (2006) and Quinn Rear (2011).

We regret the error and congratulate all four ladies on their accomplishment.
