It’s finally here! The Belleville boys and girls basketball teams and the Belleville Sports Boosters are teaming up with the American Family Children’s Hospital (AFCH) as part of this year’s “We Jump. We Shoot. We Save. Hoops for a Cure” fundraising campaign. This year’s focus is to raise awareness in support of the hospital’s Child Life Program (visit http://www.uwhealthkids.org/patient-guide/child-life/38525).
During the boys and girls games against Wisconsin Heights on Thursday (1/31) and Friday (2/1), we will be conducting a 50/50 and gift card raffle for $1/ticket. Raffle prizes will be given away at half-time of the varsity games. There will also be a “Fill the Bucket” race. Each side of the gym will compete to see who can put the most money in their buckets. FREE admission for kids who bring a donation to the game that night (new children’s books, 8 pack jumbo crayons and/or coloring books). Monetary donations directly to American Family Children’s Hospital (AFCH) will also be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go directly to the Children’s Hospital Child Life Program.
