This year, the New Glarus FCCLA is planning to raise money for the Ben Jackson Foundation. Seven weeks before Ben Jackson, a United States Air Force member, passed away in Japan, he visited his family in New Glarus. They cherished every minute they spent with him. After his passing, the Jacksons have started the Ben Jackson Foundation, a nonprofit organization which raises money to send new military members home to visit their families from their first permanent duty station.
