Grapplers Compete at Sauk Prairie Invite

On Saturday, January 5th, several varsity Sugar River wrestlers competed at Sauk Prairie. The team finished in 10th place, out of 19 teams.
Joe Quaglia (16-8), wrestling at 120 lbs, placed second and scored 30 team points. In rounds one and two he received a bye, and in round three he won by decision over Madison La Follette’s Edward Pazdziora. In the first place match, Quaglia lost to West Bend East’s Dan Ciriacks.
Avery Lettman (12-6), wrestling at 126 lbs, placed eighth and scored 5 team points. In round one, he lost to Poynette’s Levi Walz and in round two he received a bye....
