The Chickaree is an event the Monticello Community Club started 21 years ago in conjunction with the Lion’s Fisheree.

The Community Club will be grilling 600 chickens this year. Half chickens will be sold at $7.00 (not a complete dinner…just chicken). The basting recipe remains the same as what’s used at Homecoming.
