Wrestlers Compete at Richland Center Invitational

Six Sugar River varsity wrestlers participated in the 17-team Richland Center Invitational on Saturday, December 15th. Four wrestlers placed in the top five. The Sugar River wrestling team traveled to Richland Center on December 15th to compete at the Richland Center Invitational. Six varsity wrestlers participated, with four placing in the top five. The tournament includes 17 teams and multiple state qualifiers.
"This historically is a tough tournament and this year is no exception. This tournament included five ranked teams in divisions 1, 2, and 3. Also, there were multiple individually ranked wrestlers who participated. Our team was split between this tournament and the rest of the members going to Jefferson," said Coach Peter Swenson....
