Knights Come Back From Halftime Deficit to Beat Mauston
Kreklow sets new school scoring record

The New Glarus Glarner Knights played just one game last week, in Wisconsin Dells at JustAgame Field House against Mauston. The teams were pretty even in scoring in the first half, and Mauston held a slim 2-point lead over the Knights at the half. However, New Glarus outscored Mauston 41-29 in the second half to come out on top, winning the game, 76-66.
During the game, Jaden Kreklow became the all-time leading scorer in New Glarus boys basketball history, breaking Larry Retrum’s record of 1,317 points (Retrum graduated in 1995). Kreklow currently has 1,337 points.
Leading the Knights with 35 points was Jaden Kreklow. Trevor Gassman added 18 points to the score and Mason Martinson scored 7 points.
On December 10th New Glarus played at Platteville. They will play at Barneveld on December 17th and host Darlington on December 20th.
