What kind of a maniac doesn’t clean up after their dog poops on a public sidewalk or grassy area?

I’ll tell you. It’s the type of maniac that is lazy, ignorant, selfish, disrespectful, and lacks any sense of civic duty or social consciousness.

In addition to being against the law (Village of New Glarus Municipal Code, Part II “General Legislation”, Chapter 101 “Animals”, Item 101-10 “Animal Feces”), it is also hazardous to other animals, humans, and the environment (dog feces can transmit giardia, roundworms, salmonella, E coli, parvovirus, and coronavirus).

C’mon people. I think George Costanza said it best when he exclaimed, “You know we’re living in a SOCIETY!”

Be responsible and respectful of others, and pick up after your pet.
