Thank You New Glarus Community Foundation!
Dear Editor,
On behalf of the Village of New Glarus and the Friends of the Chalet of the Golden Fleece Museum, we wish to again extend our heartfelt thank you for the recent grant award. The monies will be used to replace the front porch and to restore two Barlow family artworks. The ongoing support by the Community Foundation benefits the Chalet directly and our community as a whole. Keeping this authentic Swiss Chalet and her predominately Swiss collection intact helps New Glarus maintain and grow our appreciation of our Swiss Heritage.
The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin is a resource for area nonprofit organizations whose programs/services work for the betterment of our communities. Grants from the Foundation help support the arts, education, environment, health and human services, as well as historic preservation as shown by their support of the Chalet. The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin serves nine counties, Crawford, Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Rock, Sauk, Vernon and Walworth.
