AGCO, the company that asked Mike to display his tractor at the convention, used the tractor as a draw for students to come to the booth and talk about future opportunities with AGCO. It was really cool to see something from the area so popular with the record 69,944 members and guests at this year's convention.

The Belleville FFA and New Glarus FFA attended the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, from October 24-26, 2018. On the first day of the trip, they toured a beef farm called Linz Heritage Beef. At the farm they learned about the beef industry and even saw a cow worth one million dollars! Later that night they were able to see Garth Brooks in concert.

The next day they attended the first session and heard from keynote motivational speaker, Kyle Scheele. Then the members explored around the convention hall and experienced student leadership workshops. There were many businesses there including a booth that was about making our community safer, stronger, and healthier. It taught them ways to use local businesses to help and bring the community together. Later that night they got to see a rodeo, which included a French gentleman jumping over a bull. That talent had been passed down in his family for generations.

The last day was spent at the convention hall with more sessions, booths, and meeting other members from around the country. All the Belleville and New Glarus members enjoyed their time at the 2018 National FFA Convention!
