Belleville Blood Drive Draws Six New First-Time Donors

Dear Editor,
We want to thank all who participated in our fall Red Cross Blood Drive, particularly the six first time donors! We ended up two units short of our goal of 51, but are already looking ahead to our winter drive on January 29, 2019.
Our donors included Russell Chichy, Terry Kringle, Jerry Hack, Mike O’Connor, Marie Wonders, Samuel Christen, Sherry O’Connor, Erin Frederickson, Kathie Wagner, Delores Butler, Mary Frederickson, Randall L. Lettman, Linda Drea, Christopher Dohm, Nancy Dorl, Garrett Martin, Tracy Funseth, Dianne Donlin, Denny Meyer Sr., Jerry Brown, Emma Anson, Jason Erickson, Wayne Hammerstrom, Jen Strenz, Eric Shrader, Joleen Elsing, Elaine Gerber, Leone Olstad, Juanita Harbort, Kori Rogers, Sue Bonacker, Bruce Weber, Paul Appelt, Kellie Bowen, Joe Donlin, Nita Duerst, Amy Golz, Corey Brozyna, Sharon Blohowiak, Georgiann McDonald, and Rae Ann Fahey.
Our volunteers were Gary Bubenzer, Sue Bonacker, Jeanine Mabis, Esther Huntoon, Carol Keller, Pastor George Kaminski, Fred Bonacker, Mary Steers, Wayne Hammerstrom, Jerry Remy, Jim Huntoon, Ernie Mabis, and students from J.P. Pamperin’s Health Class.
We want to thank Saint Francis of Assisi for once again hosting our Blood Drive in their St. Mary’s of Lourdes church, the Post Messenger Recorder, Culver’s of New Glarus for providing “Pint for Pint” coupons for donors, the Belleville Public Works Department, the Volunteers, and especially the donors.
