Join your family, friends and neighbors at Zwingli United Church of Christ, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello, on Sunday, October 21st, at 10:45 a.m., for Super Sunday, as they continue to follow the story of "Little Joe" (Joseph) to find out what happened to him.
Sunday, October 21, join the fun as we continue to follow the story of "Little Joe" (Joseph) at Zwingli UCC. Last Super Sunday, we tie-dyed our own coats of many colors, made dream catchers and decorated dream coat cookies. We paused our story with Little Joe being sold to the traders who were headed to Egypt. His brothers betrayed him and lied to their father "Big Jake" about him being eaten by wolves.
This time, we find Little Joe down in Egypt. Will Joe be a slave for life? Will Big Jake ever stop crying for his lost son? Will the envious brothers get by with ridding themselves of that pesky Little Joe? Come join us at 10:45 a.m., Sunday, October 21, at Zwingli UCC, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello, for the answer to these and many other burning questions.
Super Sunday is a monthly exploration of a Bible story complete with drama, games, songs, arts and crafts, food and fun. Come and join us for the morning and lunch. This month, we feature walking tacos, fruit, as well as a beverage. We are building a massive pyramid of canned food for the Green Cares Food Pantry as part of our program. This program is free and open to everyone. The interactive format is designed for people ages 2-200 yrs old. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The program is a wonderful morning of fun for all.
