Downtown Area Road Closures during New Glarus Oktoberfest

The New Glarus Oktoberfest will draw visitors to downtown New Glarus from Thursday, September 27th through Sunday, September 30th, for music, food, a 5K/10K Run and 2-Mile Walk, antique tractor pull, tapping of the Wooden Keg, and much more!
Please make note of the following road closures prior to traveling around downtown New Glarus during Oktoberfest weekend:
1st Street (between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue) will be closed starting at 12:00 a.m. Thursday, September 27th through 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1st.
5th Avenue (between Railroad Street and 2nd Street) will be closed starting at 12:00 a.m. Friday, September 28th through 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30th.
3rd Avenue (between Railroad Street and 2nd Street) for the Antique Tractor Pull from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 29th.
Elmer Road, beginning at the north intersection with Valle Tell Drive and extending to Valley View Road and Airport Road, from 7:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29th, for the Glenda K. Scott Run.
