Monticello is welcoming two new members to their teaching staff this year.
Brenda DiCristina is a new 3rd grade teacher this year. She has been a substitute teacher in Monticello for the past six years. Prior to that she taught a split 2nd/3rd grade, 3rd grade and 5th grade in Madison. Brenda and her husband, Tony, have lived in Monticello for 15 years with their children, Addison and Joe, and their dog, Rita. Brenda's family likes to camp and hike and they enjoy road trips. They love to read and play games.
Bailey Bowen did her student teaching in Monticello and was a long-term sub last year. She will be teaching high school special education. Bailey was born and raised in Monroe where she currently resides with her husband, Carey, and 4-year-old son, Barrick. A 2016 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Bailey is excited to join the staff at Monticello Schools where she finds the staff and students to be kind and welcoming. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, cooking and watching football.
