Genin and Gehin Families Celebrate 150 Years in the Making

On September 2nd, the Genin and Gehin families, friends and neighbors gathered to celebrate 150 years. And so the story goes...

"In 1856, Olympe Genin immigrated to the United States from the French town of St. Germain, which is located in Haute Saone Region about 240 miles southeast of Paris. He and many other French settled along the Sugar River in Dane County, Wisconsin, in the area of Belleville, Paoli, and Basco."
"As the oldest child of Jim Jr. and Charlotte, I remember it was a lot of work on the farm," said Jimmy (III)....
