The Green County Alzheimer’s Walk is hosting a silent auction to raise money to support valuable local programs and services provided by the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin (ADAW). The silent auction will be set up and available for bidding on Friday, September 7th, from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., and again on Saturday, September 8th, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. The walk and the auction will take place at the Behring Senior Center, 1113 10th Street, Monroe, WI.

Alleda’s Crew of New Glarus has been out and about collecting amazing auction donations from area businesses, as well as individuals. This donation list is from Alleda’s Crew, but there will be more items at the auction as well. Monetary donations are not on this list.

If you would like to join the walk, preregistration is Friday, September 7th, from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., as well as Saturday, September 8th, from 7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. You can choose either the one or two-mile walk. The walk begins at 8:30 a.m., and the awards program begins at 9:45 a.m., at which time the auction will close. You do not need to participate in the walk to participate in the silent auction.
