Stuessy-Kuenzi New Glarus American Legion Post #141 Commander Steve Hodgson presented a Gold Star Service Banner to Laurence and Jen Jackson on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Their son Ben Jackson, an enlisted member of the United States Air Force, died while serving on active duty in Misawa, Japan, on April 13, 2018.

The Gold Star Service Banner is approved for use as a sign of those in mourning for a child or family member who died while on active duty in the military.
