The Belleville Wildcats opened their football season with a game at Elcho/White Lake on Friday, August 17th. Belleville shut out the Elcho/White Lake team, 69-0.

"We had a great game on Friday after a long bus ride up to Elcho/White Lake," said Coach Chase Ritter. "After getting off to a quick start with a pass from Nate Mabis to Sean Hagen for a 46-yard touchdown on our first offensive play off the game, the tone was set. We dominated in every aspect of the game, including two special teams touchdowns and forcing three fumbles, recovering two, and two interceptions."
