The Monticello Police and Fire Departments were presented with 10 "REACH BAGs" on Wednesday, July 25. A REACH BAG is a durable backpack filled with new children's books and drawstring backpacks. First Responders use these resources to comfort children they encounter in crisis situations and distract them from the immediate trauma. The 10 REACH BAGs were provided courtesy of REACH-A-Child, Inc.

Started in 2007, REACH-A-Child continues its mission of providing a REACH BAG for every First Responder vehicle in Wisconsin.
