Dear Editor,

I am a resident of the New Glarus Home.  While attending a Devotion and Tea activity this past week, we began discussing firemen and ambulance personnel.  How these individuals devote their lives to taking care of all of us, and often time with minimum pay and not near enough thanks.

May you all realize how important your job is to all of us every day.  In a year’s time, you make many trips up the hill to keep us all safe and healthy.

On behalf of all the residents and staff at the New Glarus Home, I want to say “Thank You” to all you firemen, ambulance personnel and police officers, that are always here to help us, whenever we call.
