32nd Annual Cruis'n Wisconsin Car, Motorcycle and Truck Show

The Blanchardville Community Pride will be sponsoring their 32nd annual Cruis’n Wisconsin Car, Motorcycle and Truck Show on Sunday, July 8, 2018, rain or shine, in McKellar Park, Blanchardville.
This year’s feature vehicle will be a 1967 Chevelle SS, “Frostbite,” owned by Denny Poffenerger of Lodi, Wisconsin. The three-year project was built by Classic Car Studios in St. Louis, Missouri. The Chevelle is powered by a 496 big block that pumps out 508 horsepower. The interior has a custom fabricated center console and Vermillion Red TMI interior. Other features include air-ride suspension, five-speed transmission, custom fabricated exhaust and is painted by the House of Kolor in Gold Rush Shimrin Pearl. “Frostbite” has won several major national indoor and outdoor awards, and has appeared in Super Chevy and Chevelle magazines. Also, special appearances on the Velocity television show, Speed is the New Black.
Jerry Von Kaenel is this year’s local spotlight, with his 1965 Chevy Nova II. The Monroe native has owned the Nova since 1987 and did all of the customization himself. It is a must see!
This year’s Special Attraction is a 1934 Packard Limo owned by John O’Neill and Mary Beth Johnson of Cross Plains. Most of the restoration was done by TLC Restorations and the vehicle is available for hire for weddings, anniversaries and other special occasions.
All stock to six-years-old and modified to present vehicles are welcome. Over 130 trophies, 36 classes, three “Best of Class” trophies in each class, larger classes – four or more trophies awarded. This is a judged show. Non-food craft and swap vendors are welcome.
Door prizes, 50/50 raffle, t-shirts, beer and food will be available. Dash plaques to the first 300 vehicles. Vehicle registrations are $8.00 before July 6, 2018, and $15.00 at the door. Display only and for sale vehicles, $8.00. Registration time is 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. General admission is $2.00, under 12 is free.
