Sugar River Raiders Soccer Loses to Green Bay Notre Dame at State

The Sugar River Raider Girls Soccer team lost to Green Bay Notre Dame in the WIAA Division 3 State Semi-Final game. Above: Sugar River Coach John Ziperski spoke to the team at halftime.
The Sugar River Raiders played at Milwaukee's Uihlein Soccer Park against Green Bay Notre Dame on Friday, June 15th. The Raiders entered the game undefeated and ready to play the 15-5-1 Green Bay team. This was the second time in three years that Sugar River earned a trip to state, and the 11th state tournament appearance for Green Bay.
Notre Dame scored their first goal at 2:23 into the game, only the second first-half goal the Raiders allowed the entire season. Green Bay Notre Dame was up 1-0 at the half.
