Sugar River Soccer On Their Way to State!

The Sugar River Soccer team will compete in State Tournament at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee. After winning Sectionals the team was honored by Belleville Fire Department and New Glarus Fire Department. Fans came out to show the team their support.
On a warm, clear night, the Sugar River Soccer team faced Mount Horeb at home for the Sectional Semifinal game on June 7th. With the 3-2 win, the team became Sectional Champions.
Less than 8 minutes into the game, Kalin O'Rourke, assisted by Eve Palmer, scored the first goal of the game. At 31:20, O'Rourke scored goal number two for Sugar River.
In the second half, Sydney Gentilli, assisted by Morgan Hustad, scored the third goal for the team. Mount Horeb scored two goals within ten minutes, but Sugar River held on to win the game and advance to the Sectional Final game against top-see...
