Tyse Hoesly and Lauren Stelter have been selected as the 2018 Green County Cheese Days Prince and Princess.  The pair was chosen from among nearly 40 local youth who applied back in May and participated in interviews on Saturday, June 2nd, at the Historic Green County Courthouse.

Tyse is the son of Dusten and Brooke Hoesly of New Glarus.  Lauren is the daughter of Matt and Anita Stelter of Monroe.  The children will join King and Queen Gordy and Ruth Bergemann and Ambassador Tess Zettle in promoting the festival, slated for September 14-16, 2018.

The Prince and Princess Contest was coordinated by Heidi Witt, along with assistance from Inge Brockman, Gabe Witt and Erica Zentner.  The interview team included Pat and Gloria Krutza (2016 King and Queen), Jana Crandall (2016 Ambassador), Simon Zimmerman (2016 Prince), Delaney Sweeney (2016 Princess), Rebekah Stauffacher (1988 Princess) and Charity McMahon (2008 Ambassador).
