The Third Annual Monticello PTO Pony Trot will be held Saturday, July 7. The event consists of a 1K Little Pony Run starting at 8:00 a.m., and a 5K Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. The event will be at Monticello Schools, with registration opening on the playground at 7:30 a.m. Bathrooms and showers will be available.

Kids 18 and under are $10.00. Adults 19 and older who register by June 25 have an entry fee of $20.00, and $25.00 if registered after June 25. Registration and payment must be received by June 25th to guarantee your t-shirt. Little Pony runners will receive participation ribbons. For the 5K Run/Walk, recognition will be given to the top three male and female runners in the following age categories: 12 years old and under, 13-18 years old, and 19 years old and over.

Monticello PTO is an organization of parents and current and retired teachers who support the students and staff of Monticello Schools. Every year, the PTO uses its funds to make multiple contributions to the school in the form of grants to any teacher for supplies and classroom activities, student scholarships, and a Pony Fund to provide financial assistance to students for extracurricular school activities.
