Masson Graduates From Illinois Wesleyan
Illinois Wesleyan University honored 389 candidates for graduation during Commencement on May 6, 2018. Kirk Schroeder ’84, the co-founder of two life science companies, delivered the Commencement address. Katelyn Masson, New Glarus, graduated Summa Cum Laude, having majored in German and Vocal Performance.
University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Holds Commencement Ceremony

Illinois Wesleyan Announces Spring 2018 Dean’s List
Katelyn Masson, New Glarus, has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester of the 2017-18 academic year at Illinois Wesleyan University. The Dean’s List includes 737 students from 25 states and 18 countries. To be on the Dean’s List, a student must have a grade-point average of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight As.
Dakota State 2018 Spring Honors List Released
A total of 508 full-time and 183 part-time students qualified for the President’s Academic Honors list for the 2018 spring semester at Dakota State University (DSU) in Madison, S.D. The following full-time student from our area achieved a grade point average of 3.5 to 4.0 to qualify for the honors list: Maxwell Cruse, New Glarus.
