Overdose Reversal Drug NARCAN Presentation and Training

Heidi Olson-Streed, a prevention specialist with ARCW-Madison, will be training interested persons on how to identify and respond to an opiate overdose; how to administer NARCAN and follow-up services; factors in fatal overdoses; information on how to access NARCAN via your doctor or pharmacist on Wednesday, March 21st, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Belleville High School Auditorium at 635 W. Church Street.

Open to the public.  Who should attend?  Those who are the highest risk of being involved in an opioid overdose, to include:  friends and family of opiate users, first responders, school personnel, law enforcement, alcohol/drug professionals, mental health professionals, medical professionals and clergy.
