Local Flooding Across the Area

Following rain from Monday, February 19, and into Tuesday, there was water covering streets and parks across the area, including in Glarner Park and Veterans Park in New Glarus. Third Avenue had over a foot of water in some places and 2nd Street between the schools was covered with water.
In Monticello water covered Montesian Gardens, and was over the road on E. Lake Avenue. A number of roads around the county were also flooded. Flood warnings remain in effect with more rain expected on Tuesday.
