Knights Win Capitol South Conference!

The New Glarus Knights clinched the Capitol South Conference title for the second consecutive year after defeating the Cardinals from Marshall 100-73 last week.

The New Glarus Knights played at Darlington on February 6th. Ahead by two at the half, the Knights pulled out a 64-56 win over the Redbirds.

With 22 points, Jaden Kreklow, who was 5-6 from the free throw line, led the Knights in scoring. Zach Feller scored 15 points and Trevor Gassman scored 10 points.

On February 8th, New Glarus hosted Marshall. With the Knights leading 65-33 at the half, Marshall's attempted comeback fell short and New Glarus won the game. The final score was New Glarus 100, Marshall 73.

Zach Feller poured in 27 points, which included five 3-pointers, to lead the Knights in scoring while Jaden Kreklow sunk four 3s to end up with 22 points. Trevor Gassman scored 10 points and Connor Siegenthaler, Cullen Brooks and Dishawn Gale all scored 8 points. Brooks and Gale were perfect from the free throw line, both going 2-2.

The Knights will wrap up their regular season with a game on February 13th at Cambridge, at Belleville on the 16th and will host Poynette on February 22nd.
