Lady Knights Defeat Mineral Point

The New Glarus Lady Knights played at Mineral Point on January 29th, winning the game after a 20-20 tie at the half. The final score was New Glarus 50, Mineral Point 44. The Knights shot 12 for 19 from the free throw line.
Julia Barnaby led the team with 16 points, nine rebounds and had three key blocks. JayLynn Benson added 15 points and four steals while Lexi Krause scored 6 points had eight rebounds and four steals and Lily Himmelmann scored 4 points and had six rebounds and two blocks.
On February 1st the team played at Waterloo. After trailing at the half by only 6, New Glarus lost the game, 41-51. They were 5-6 from the free throw line. Willow Lee led the team with 17 points while Julia Barnaby added 8 and Riley Parker scored 6 points.
The team played at Marshall on February 6th and will host Wisconsin Heights on February 9th.
