Interested in knowing more about the ins and outs of police work?  Want to experience the training officers go through?  Curious about how all that CSI stuff you see on TV works?  The Belleville Police Department will be hosting a Citizen Police Academy in the Spring of 2018.  Participants will partake in firing weapons, driving emergency vehicles, and collecting evidence.  K9 searches, field sobriety testing, and arrest tactics will be demonstrated.  Participants will tour the Dane County Jail and see the workings of the Dane County 911 dispatch center.  Class will meet once a week...
