Maximillion X. Montgomery, age 15, lost his long-time struggle with depression and left this world on Monday, January 1, 2018. Max was born on January 6, 2002, to his mother, Jennifer Ace. He attended school in New Glarus and Belleville.

Max is survived by his mom, Jennifer; sister, Amber (Matt) Ace; grandparents, Randy and Barb Ace and George and Pat Montgomery; great-grandmother, Fran Albright; uncles and aunts, Brian and Heidi Daugherty, Jeremy and Nikki Ace, and Jon and Dawn Clark; and last, but not least, a true friend but brother at heart, Tyler Perkins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Emery and Anna Ace; and great-grandfather, Clarence Albright.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 5, 2018, at the Swiss United Church of Christ, 18 Fifth Avenue, New Glarus, WI, with the Rev. Kim Moeller officiating.

Relatives and friends called from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.

We released balloons on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at sunset to celebrate Max's birthday.
