The Monticello Ponies competed at the Cambridge Holiday Tournament on Thursday, December 28th.

In the Semi-Final game against Cambridge, the Ponies lost 31-71. Cambridge went on a 27-11 run with most of the points scored by one player on steals and layups. The Ponies were unable to score more than 3 points in a row while Cambridge went on three runs of 10-0 and played a tight defense throughout the game.

Monticello’s Reece Rufer scored 10 points and had four rebounds. Travis McCoy and Jon Errthum each scored 5 points and Jeffery Ace pulled down four rebounds.
