The New Glarus Knights boys basketball team hosted the Barneveld Eagles on Thursday, December 28th. Down by 13 points at the half, it seemed as if the Eagles were going to hand the Knights their first loss of the season. However, in the second half the Knights stepped it up on offense and defense and overcame a 19-point deficit with nine minutes left in regulation. With 35 seconds left in the game, junior guard Jaden Kreklow sunk a 3-point shot to put the Knights up by 2. The Knights won the game, 84-79. New Glarus outscored Barneveld in the second half, 57-39.
