The Monticello girls basketball team hosted Johnson Creek on December 14th and, after a 13-point lead at the half, outscored Johnson Creek by 29 points in the second to win, 64-22.

“Great team effort.  Our girls played solid defense and rebounded the ball better than we have so far this season,” commented Coach Mark Gustafson.  “We played with confidence and were able to take advantage of some mismatches which led to some easy baskets for us.  Claire Klossner had a nice game and led us with 11 rebounds.  Alyssen Noriega once again played well and led us in scoring.”
