Five Raiders Place in Top Eight at Richland Center Invite

The Sugar River wrestling team participated at the annual Richland Center Invite on Saturday, December 16th, with five Raiders fighting their way to a top eight finish in their 16 man brackets.
Joe Quaglia (12-3), wrestling at 106 lbs, scored 32 team points and placed second. Quaglia received a bye in round one and in round two he won by fall over Hillsboro’s Dalton Kehoe. In round three, Quaglia won by fall over Kohl Linberg of Gale-Ettrick-Trempeleau /Melrose. In the first place match, Quaglia lost by decision to Belmont/Platteville’s Tristen Gilbertson.
