On December 5, 2017, at the meeting of New Glarus AmVets Post #69, the Sugar River Quilts of Valor organization presented quilts to the Veterans pictured. Although some of those pictured are members of the New Glarus AmVets Post #69, others were veteran friends who had been nominated to be presented with a Quilt of Valor.
