Avalanche Loses to Brookfield

The Monroe Avalanche Co-op hockey team played at Brookfield on Saturday, November 25th, losing 1-7.
“Unfortunately we were down five players for today’s games, so by the end of our varsity game our guys were gassed,” said Coach Josh Smith. “Brookfield is also a good team and they played a more physical game than we are used to. We improved every period, but unfortunately we couldn’t come back from our mistakes.”
The team’s single point came near the end of the third period, on a PP by Cade Janecke, assisted by Colton O’Connor and Hayden Roth.
