Carr Studies Abroad

Celia Carr, an Earlham College junior and daughter of Melinda and Alistair Carr of Brooklyn, WI, is participating in Earlham’s Tibetan Studies off-campus program.

As part of the program, Carr is gaining an in-depth understanding of a community in exile and issues associated with Tibetan refugees. Based in Dharamsala, India, the program works with the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics to create a semester of rigorous academic work, language study, cultural immersion, contemplative practice and field research.
