Fall is almost over. It’s time to think spring. Then think spring tree planting. The Green County Land & Water Conservation Department is offering 11 varieties of trees and three varieties of shrubs for landowners interested in planting next spring. The tree varieties are: Bur Oak, Red Oak, White Oak, Swamp White Oak, Sugar Maple, Butternut, Sycamore, Apple, White Pine, Tamarack, and Norway Spruce.
