Sugar River Wins Both Regional Games, Moves on to Sectionals

Sugar River won over the Hillmen of Lancaster/ Platteville and Edgewood to take the Regional Championship last week. Next up will be a sectional game against Mount Horeb at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 26th, at Mount Horeb High School.
The Sugar River boys soccer team played a Division 3, Sectional 3 WIAA Tournament game at Reddan Park against Platteville/Lancaster on October 19th, and shut out the Hillmen, 4-0.
"Strong performance for Sugar River," said Coach Kyle Webber. "Got some nice goals early in the game and was able to possess the ball around Platteville/Lancaster."
Sugar River scored early in the first period. Brock Kelly, assisted by Jaden Kreklow, put the first point on the board. Three minutes later, Kreklow assisted Jack Gentilli for the second point. Justin Knoebl didn't wait long to score the third poin...
